OCCHIO500nano is an optical granulomorphometer for dry powder based on image analysis technology. From sample introduction to analysis reporting, OCCHIO500nano operates by a fully computer controlled, customizable Standard Operating Procedure (S.O.P.).
The optics and lighting configurations have been developed to guarantee the best resolution at lower magnifications and to prevent distortion from being introduced during the dynamic image acquisition (from 0.500 µm up to 2000 µm).
Size and shape measurements with WET & DRY module
OCCHIO 500nanoXY is an optical granulomorphometer based on image analysis technology with DRY and WET mode. Sample dispersion is done by a specific disperser by Vaccum pump to give an homogenous dispersion for better analysis.
This new instrument allows now to analyze powders with DRY mode and suspensions, emulsions with WET mode
For particle size for 0.4 µm up to 3000 µm, you can analyze size and shape of particles and can save all corresponding pictures
Texture analysis, length & width for long fibers
New Imaging analyzer for texture analysis and particle size measurements on quality control (particle size range 2 µm up to 20000 µm).
OCCHIO SCAN600 is a new device dedicated to texture analysis of bread, polymer foam, fibers and big particles. Based on image analysis technique associated with a powerful software, it allows to measure size and shape of holes as porosity analysis. It will also possible to measure length and width of fibers.
Applications: analysis of holes in bread, polymer foam analysis, Tobacco fibers analysis, wood, Stones, Metallic surfaces etc.
Pharmaceutical powders analyzer
Based upon a combination of high-quality optical components and sophisticated image analysis software, the OCCHIO PHARMA is a fully PC controlled systems for fast and accurate powder characterization. It is dedicated to dry powder in the range 0.5µm-2mm including cement powder as well as grind coffee.
The OCCHIO PHARMA is a pharma version of the instrument focuses on hazardous powders. It includes a PC controlled dispersion device facilitating analyses under extractor hood and it works with CFR21 part 11 software for companies ruled by Food and Drug Administration regulation
